Weekend Soiree #24: A game of comment interaction

by

Little boy with cell phone

The game is easy! I will ask a question. The first person who comments will answer my question, and will leave a question for the next person to answer. This next person will answer that question, and leave a question for the next next person to answer. I am sure you get it! 😉

To make things more fun, the questions have to reflect the chosen theme. For example, if the theme is WATER, all questions should relate to that topic. Do you really drink 8 glasses of water a day? Have you had any romantic experiences in water? As much as possible, let’s not repeat the questions for added fun! You are also welcome to play more than once.

Let’s start charging our mobiles for our 24th weekend soiree!

The theme: MOBILE PHONES

My question for Person #1: Have you ever been romanced through SMS? 😉

Oh yes! Plenty of times. But when I found soulmate, kami na lang dalawa syempre ang nagpapadala ng mushy SMS to each other. :)

    Question for the next commenter:
What was the most romantic SMS you have received?

I’m not actually sure whether it’s the Palm Treo 650 or the Samsung Blackjack I’m currently using. Both are hand-me-downs from my sister. :-) But from those that I’ve bought, I would say the Sony Ericsson T630 which I got for 17k a few years back.

Aside from calls and sms, what’s the most important feature of a mobile phone you?

I think I can. As long as I have some way of contacting my family (landline) then I can do without a cellphone. It would be a bit inconvenient, though.

Question : What would be your current dream mobile phone?

Yes, I lost my first ever phone (one of the first few models of Motorola) to a snatcher. I was wearing denim and I pocketed it there (I guess, it was bulging then). The hold-upper came from nowhere and pointed a balisong in my side, asked me to hand the phone to him. After doing so, he ran so fastly and the rest is history.

My mobile phone must have: a camera, internet access, games.

How many mobile phones have you owned ever since? And what are they? (If you can recall)

guilty as charged! S has her own at age 9! don’t really know what got into me into allowing this, now it’s turning out into wasted money since she always forgets to bring it with her:) but i have good reasons too for getting her a phone this early…and there are rules with regards to her using it, she can’t even take it out of her bag in school:)

Q:Would you sell your more expensive phone in place of a lesser priced one with more/better features, say an iphone 3g?:(

i lost two phones. the first one, a motorola i sent for repair through a friend and she lost it actually. the second one, a nokia, was stolen from my table at the bank. i was stupid enough to forget it on top of my table while i answered a telephone call from the back room. it was gone so soon.

Q: which feature of your phone do you use most, and how often?

I am using mobile #6 now which I got last March and the oldest message in this phone is from my son homeschooling Julian (who is almost 7 and is using a hand-me-down mobile phone) dated March 12, 3008. His sms was “Na read ko ang dali” pertaining to the question I asked him about his achievement tests given by DepEd.
