“The Gift of An Ordinary Day” by Katrina Kenison is so simple in its message but it brings the tears on every time I watch it. Thanks to Em for sharing this video with me. My son is turning 4 years old next month. I’m amazed everyday by how fast he’s changing. We do many things to chronicle milestones, and yup, everyday, every single day is a milestone in itself. Katrina Kenison is right. There is much to be cherished in these ordinary days. Sometimes the gift on an ordinary day is even the most treasured of all. Grab a tissue before watching this. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

If you’re at work, I bet you want to run home and be with your children. I sure did.
Appreciate the small things. Cherish the little ones. Chronicle not just first steps and first home runs, but everything in between.
Here’s a glimpse of ordinary days with my son. They are indeed the most special of gifts.
