Quickie Healthy Snack

All you need:

Slices of whole wheat bread

Olive oil (or extra-virgin if you’d like)

Garlic cloves

Non-stick pan

All you have to do:

1. Grab a slice of bread.

2. Rub a clove of garlic on one side of the bread. Rub some more. Rub till you don’t want to rub it anymore.

3. Brush that side of the bread with the olive oil.

4. Do the same steps for the rest of the slices.

5. Place bread on a heated pan, garlic-oil-side face down. When toasted to your heart’s desire, flip it on the other side and toast some more. If you’ve got a toaster oven, stick the slices in and toast for about 3-4 minutes.

When I’m lazy, I do without the garlic. It still turns out delicious. Sometimes I eat this as is, other times I grab some pork and beans and make a sandwich. Either way, it’s still a quick, healthy and yummy snack!
