I sense an addiction coming up with Plurk. One, I love the name. It’s like a sound coming from a little animal or the sound of a marble dropping into a glass of orange juice. Plurk! Second, I love how interactive it is. You can easily respond to status updates and the comment-response thread is easy to follow. Third, I love how its laid out in a timeline. Fourth, I like the points system. The more Karma points you have, the more you get access to smileys and other features.
What is Plurk? Think Twitter with a caffeine buzz. I’m still on Twitter but I can see myself getting into Plurk too. Thanks to Shai for the heads up on this new social networking site. If you’d like to be my Plurk friend, click here!

It says, “We apologize the site you are attempting to visit has been blocked due to its content being inconsistent with the religious, cultural, political and moral values of the United Arab Emirates.”
