by

Here are some pictures we took at the Clearance Sale I posted about earlier. Will you take a walk down memory lane with me? 😉 Let me know if any of these toys are familiar to you.

There was another store on the same floor also connected with the clearance sale, but we didn’t get to take pictures there. So! Any of the toys or books familiar to you? 😉

    WOW!!!!!!

It’s sad though. Are they closing for good? I remember buying my very first toy with my own allowance at Nova Fonta when they were still in Virra Mall before the 3rd fire…. early 80’s. Bought a big Batman toy for P300 and I remember my Mom going into a fit over it…. Still have the Batman toy, in pristine condition :)

Hi Toni! I waited for all the photos to load. Those are really cool stuff. My son saw the photos and was already pointing to the toys he likes. haha! With the enrollment and all, I better steer him away from toy shops for now. *wink*

I remembered my younger brother upon seeing those GI Joes and Transformers. I remember how many GI Joe action figures and vehicles he had back then and several transformers too. If I could just turn back time, I will ask my mom to keep them for her future grandson and not give it away to our cousins in the province. Those toys were in good condition and would make a valuable collection today. When my husband saw my brother’s former collection in old photos, he asked where they are now. Sayang daw sana naitago para kay Yohan (which I think means para din sa kanya. haha!) My husband loves toys too even now that he is much older. Gusto ba naman bumili ng Voltes V sa ebay. Sabi ko, naku gastos lang yan. Iba nalang at baka masira lang hi Yohan. KJ mom! haha!

    Wow! G.I. Joe and Transformers!

I spent hours at the toy section of SM and Gotesco when I was “a bit younger” just to look at these.
I don’t usually buy, I just wait for my relatives abroad for their gifts, no money to buy also.

I would even go to our neighbor to play as he has a collection of G.I. Joe action figures.

    Thanks for the trip!
