Lunch at Cafe Breton

Lunch at Cafe Breton is one of my favorite things. Cafe Breton’s theme is blues, whites and browns, the peaceful colors creating a warm, cozy vibe. I love the blue and white plates, the wooden tables, and definitely, the yummy food.

My go-to order for lunch at Cafe Breton is the Galette Rustique. A galette is a kind of crepe made with buckwheat flour. (But it looks like a crepe too.) A Galette Rustique has smoked bacon, tomato provencal, mozarella, and a sunny side-up egg. I order mine with extra asparagus.

Another favorite of mine is the Poseidon. It’s a savory crepe with smoked salmon, dill sauce, sour cream and capers.

If you’re bringing your child to Cafe Breton and they’re not into crepes, no worries. They have spaghetti! It’s delicious, too!

My sisters and I usually share a crepe for dessert. One of our favorites is this Fantastic Pinay. It has mango, chocohazelnut spread, chocolate sauce and whipped cream.

But my all-time favorite dessert when I have lunch at Cafe Breton is a simple crepe: Butter & Sugar with Lemon.

It’s perfect with a cup of brewed coffee, lots of laughter and good conversations. If you’re not in the mood for a big meal, Cafe Breton is also great for solitary afternoons. I like bringing a good read and having a cup of coffee there. It’s treasured quiet time.
