K5 Learning Review Heads up!

K5 Learning has an online reading and math program for kindergarten to grade 5 students. I’ve been given a 6 week free trial to test and write a review of their program.

I thought this was super timely, given that Timmy’s starting Kindergarten in June. It would be awesome to try this out during his summer break. Timmy’s a big reader, so I’m hoping K5 Reading helps him nurture his love for reading. K5 Learning’s award-winning reading program covers phonemic awareness, phonics, sight words, vocabulary and reading comprehension. The last one’s what we need to focus on!

K5 Learning’s K5 Math is also an award-winning program which builds self-confidence and a deep understanding of math concepts. K5 Math covers numbers and operations, geometry, measurement (including time and money), algebraic thinking and data analysis. I’m curious to see how Timmy and I will be learning this at his level.

I’ll be writing a review of the program after completing the 6-week trial period.
