Ironic Nurturing

Ironic Nurture

Sometimes I indulge to nurture myself. Ironic, but true. There are days when a greasy sandwich and hash browns just hit the spot. It’s not the healthiest of meals for sure, but on some days, it’s what helps nurture my soul best.

Break

Here’s another example. I don’t drink alcohol much, but this beer was well-timed and well-deserved. A treat, if you may. It came after good news at work, with some colleagues celebrating. When I was offered one, I didn’t refuse. I also didn’t finish most of this beer, but that’s beside the point. 😛

How about you? Do you nurture yourself by indulging yourself in these ways too? Come share!

Oh yes! Moments of indulgence that come with wisdom come handy in the path of life. A glass of wine, a cup of coffee in my hand…it’s the little things…

Wine, of course! :) And coffee in the morning. Which reminds me, I need to get a cup now. 😀

I highly believe in indulging oneself! We all work hard, we deserve to treat ourselves once in a while right? :) And indulgence in purely subjective…so whatever makes you happy! My major form of indulgence is food, eep! Funnily enough I just wrote a post on indulgence…and Wagyu bacon…so there you go!
