Fun with Felt

Upon seeing this little felt learning pack at National Bookstore, I knew my son was going to enjoy it! You could rearrange and stick felt pieces on the felt board to create different fun scenes.

FELT02

Timmy got on it right away, peeling off the felt pieces gently. Then he eagerly placed the pieces back on the board. I encouraged him to try different positions for the pieces, but he wanted to put them back the way they were.

He put the boy’s felt hair on the tree, thinking it was a nest. Heehee.

Because it’s felt, it doesn’t fall off as easily when the board is standing. Coolio!

FELT08

“Mommy! The duck is swimming!”

This was a fun way to spend part of an afternoon at home. This felt set comes in different themes too. There’s a dinosaur set, another farm set, etc. Check it out at National Bookstore! I think I’ll try the other themes too. Good fun!

I’ve been planning to make something like this but buying felt in different colors comes out expensive. Good thing NBS has something like this! :) I’ll look for it in Megamall :)
