Early Bird Breakfast Club

by

Early Bird Breakfast Club is a great place to catch up with friends. They have delicious food and cozy seats. I met up with my good friends Andrea and Shale at Early Bird Breakfast Club (Fort Strip branch) last week and boy, did we enjoy our meals!

With Andrea

Me and Andrea getting ready to dig in!

Andrea got the Poached Egg Caesar, the Choco Banana Berry French Toast to share, and I got the Ultimate Grilled Cheese with Roasted Tomato Soup. I’m still dreaming about my order.

Early Bird Breakfast Club’s Ultimate Grilled Cheese with Roasted Tomato Soup

Whenever I’d chance upon Early Bird Breakfast Club reviews online, there would always be a strong recommendation for their Grilled Cheese sandwich. I LOVE grilled cheese sandwiches so I knew I had to try theirs.

One word: Heavenly. I loved how gooey the cheese was, how crisp and fresh the bread was. I loved it even more when I dipped the grilled cheese sandwich into the tomato soup. In my blog entry about Italian restaurant Amici, I said that if I could marry a pizza I’d marry their Artichoke and Portobello Flatbread Pizza. Now if I could marry a grilled cheese sandwich, it would totally be this one from Early Bird Breakfast Club. I do, Grilled Cheese Sandwich and Tomato Soup from Early Bird Breakfast Club, I do.

When can I have you again?

What’s in this sandwich that makes it so good? Toasted slices of bread hold cheddar, mozzarella and gruyere, with a sweet and spicy onion relish.

I relished every bite of this meal. Totally. I was wondering when I could have it again. I was wondering where the other branches of Early Bird Breakfast Club where, in case there were any near my home. Haha. Addicted.

Dip me, baby.

I’m telling ya! Dip the grilled cheese sandwich into the soup. The bread won’t turn too soggy, but it’ll still absorb the soup. I liked the soup because it was not too sour but still very tomatoey. Yumminess!

Choco Banana Berry Toast

Perfect for the Sweet Tooth.

For dessert, Andrea and I shared a Choco Banana Berry French Toast. This is a combination of Nutella, fresh bananas and blueberry jam sandwiched between caramelized French toast. Andrea and I were wondering what made the bread so crisp. So they were caramelized! My gosh. I found this dish a little too sweet for my taste, but it was still very good.

Aside from the food, the interiors were beautiful. We loved the teal and white wall! Isn’t it gorgeous? Service was also quick and friendly. The air-conditioning was a little wonky though during our lunch visit there, but the wait staff was quick to help deal with it (turning it up when it was getting too warm, without us having to tell them everytime).

My LEAP friends

A good meal with good friends.

What a yummy lunch this was! It was made even more special with my lovely friends Andrea and Shale. They’re my friends for life! I met them during my LEAP journey. Andrea was my buddy, and Shale was my life coach. :)

I’m looking forward to our next get-together. I wouldn’t mind at all if it will be at Early Bird Breakfast Club again. For sure, I’ll be getting that Ultimate Grilled Cheese with Roasted Tomato Soup again!

Have you tried this restaurant yet? What other dishes do you recommend? :)

Early Bird Breakfast Club has three locations: Bonifacio Global City, Eastwood Mall and Century City Mall. Check out their Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/earlybirdbreakfastclub.

Toni, if you like champorado, you have to try theirs. Pair it with a couple of bacon sticks (i can’t remember what it’s called) and you get that yummy sweet and salty breakfast anytime of the day, any darn day! :)
