2013 Reading Challenge. Also book recommendations.
Doing the happy bookworm dance!

This 2014 I’ll still have a reading goal. This time it’ll be 75 books within 2014! I’m already on my first book and am excited about the 74 I have yet to read. If you’ve got book recommendations for me, feel free to leave a comment below or via the contact form.

Here’s a list of the 50 books I read in 2013, along with their ratings. Any book with 4 and 5 stars are strongly recommended! I’m leaving in the 1-3 starred books because I may not have super liked them, but you may find them interesting. :)

wow!!! 50 books? good for you… last year, I wasn’t able to keep track of how many books I read. Does a trilogy counts? hehehe! I was able to see 12 books that I have in your list and 4 of those, I have done reading, the 8, let’s just say that parang it bored me the first 2 to 3 chapters that I skipped it and went to read other books muna. Try reading, AND THE MOUNTAINS ECHOED by Khaled Hosseini. I have this fear of reading books which I thought uses big words and others, but when I read this book And The Mountains Echoed, my fear of reading such books and written by such authors, faded away. kaya ko naman pala silang basahin. hehehe! Thanks for posting these books that you read… :)

You’ve inspired me to take on 50 books to read. And then I realized, “wait! There’s only 48 weeks in a year!” And the first one is almost over! Let’s make it 25..or 30. ☺️☺️ That’s real congratulations to you! What’s a John Green book like? I’m forever curious but quite apprehensive to pick him up..

The only John Green book I’ve liked so far is “The Fault In Our Stars”. It’s young adult. Easy reading. :) It’s a book that’ll send you to tears though so be prepared! But it’s a GREAT read.

Good point, Junnie! Most of my e-books are foreign authors. Any recommendations for local or Phil-born authors?
