An internet cafe is my haven. While H likes hustling and bustling with the crowds at the mall, I prefer a peaceful and quiet corner. I don’t like the feeling of other people’s elbows in my ribs or their breath on my shoulders. So while he chats up a storm with the salespeople, I slink away and find my way to a net cafe.
Aaah, yes. Air-conditioning. Peace and quiet. Just the tapping of keys and the clicking of the mouse. But wait, did someone just fart? I sneak a peek at the guy beside me and oooh yeah, he just ripped a silent but deadly one. Too bad for me.
Uh-oh, a little boy is throwing a tantrum beside me. His parents just walked into the net cafe and they’re asking him to stop playing Ragnarok. Obviously he was in the middle of an engaging battle as he’s holding back tears and twisting in his seat, stomping his feet in frustration. His Mom’s behind us now, whispering in his ear. He lets go of the mouse and tearfully gets up from his seat.

Neopets. When I’m really bored, I go here. The games are cute. I have two pets here!

Art.com. I love browsing through the posters and pictures. I’ve created galleries for myself which I’ve labeled “Living Room,” “Kitchen,” “Bedroom,” etc. It’s fun to create a wishlist for your own home in here!
Manolo’s Shoe Blog. Entertaining, educational, the Manolo, he is FUN, FUN, FUN. Ever since he posted this pair of shoes, I got hooked.

May 30, 2005 at 3:15 pm (19 years ago)hay! i’ve come to hate internet cafes because of the noisy, insensitive people who frequent these places! when men/boys are so into their games and start yelling and shouting at one another, they give me migraine attacks!
there was even this one time i was writing an email and a “not very close” guy friend stood behind me and kept reading aloud what i was writing. at first, i wasn’t aware tapos biglang i realized what he was doing. i turned around and gave him the evilest of evil eyes! i angrily told him, “akala mo ba natutuwa ako sa’yo?! bastos ka ah!” i must have looked like i was about to eat him alive for he looked as white as a ghost! he said “sorry” and walked away. i was so mad i wanted to throw the keyboard at him! hay!
siyempre, nagkuwento na naman ako. hehehe:)
btw, i used to have a neopet. patay na siguro ngayon.:(
