The Incredible Incredibles!

What can I say? It’s a terrific family film. It’s about a family of undercovers superheroes living in suburbia, but are triggered to save the world upon uh… well, I don’t want to give the plot away. Do watch it! Read more about the film here!

Pixar has outdone itself once again. The animation was fantastic. The music was very “spy meets superhero.” H and I loved it! We’ve been anticipating the release of this movie since the very first time we saw the trailer — that was last year. We’ve bought toys of “The Incredibles” already. SM Makati’s Toy Kingdom has a great display of it. AND, we also got the toys from McDonald’s. I’m not a fastfood fan anymore but I was forced to gobble down a Chicken and Rice Happy Meal so I can get 1 of 3 available toys. H couldn’t stomach the Burger McDo. On the side, what the hell is happening to THAT McDonald’s burger? It borders on the pathetic. The bun is dry, the dressing’s blah and the meat sucks. McDo people — please improve the quality of your food for the Filipino people. Then again, I have better advice. Don’t each too much fastfood. Just watch Supersize Me and you’ll know why.

My new alaga! But I digress again. We are now building our collection of “The Incredibles” toys. I started with a really cute one. See this baby with me? That’s little Jack Jack! He coos and cries. With his pacifier on, he makes cute baby sounds. When he’s not wearing it, he makes cranky sounds. Cutest toy ever!

In the middle of the film, H leaned over to me and whispered, “Wifey, I want a family just like that.” Hmmm. No problem, sweetie.

“Ding, ang bato!”
