I’m back!

by

I’m still a bit dazed from a fantastic experience I had back in Malaysia. It was a 9-day business trip that involved sleepless nights and major presentations. Each day was extremely worth the eye bags and zits I’ve had because of those late nights. Thanks to all of you who wished me a safe trip. Save for almost being left by the plane going home, everything went smoothly for me and my officemates. Some various tips before catching up on your blogs:

  • I’m no expert at packing, but I have mastered the art of bringing 2 pairs of shoes when I travel, then coming back home with 4 to 5 pairs. Go figure. *winks*
  • Sachets are your best friend when traveling. They save on spills and can be easily thrown away after each use. Less clutter on your way back home!
  • For trip reimbursements, make sure you keep a little notebook with you all the time to track every single expense you make — down to the very last details such as tips!
  • Red wine can do wonders to calm your nerves, but there’s nothing like a cathartic talk with a good friend to help you fully get rid of angst and wonders.
  • If you can’t understand what another is saying, be it due to a difference in accents or you’re just too zoned out to have listened the first time, there’s no harm in asking “Could you kindly repeat what you just said?”
  • The long and scenic way back to your hotel room is better than the short and boring one.

That’s it for now. You can find the pics here. You know who I am! I’m now going to catch up on work, on e-mail, on your blogs! :)
